So I bought a GTA SA from steam because I am a fan of gta series but never tried SA so I am really curious to see whats happening there since it is the legendary game and probably the best one in the series. In your GTA:SA folder, you may see a file called d3d9.dll, this is the DirectX 9 file required, however, GTA:SA doesn't detect it. To fix this problem, rename it to d3d9_32.dll. This fixed the problem for me.

Hello everyone! If you have Windows 7 64-bit like myself and are having issues with your mouse while trying to play San Andreas, than this solution may help fix your problem! So when I first played SA on my PC recently, I had notice that the mouse was not working and would sometimes come back everytime I go into the menu of the game.

Guide for downgrading the rockstar launcher version of sanandreas. I found a great video on youtube that tells you how to make the game mod compatable. All you have to do is discard the gta san andreas.exe from the launcher and replace it with the steam exe. Then you use the downgrader tool on the steam exe and then replace the rstar launcher
