At speed the windnoise is no problem. The engine is also a little more refined sound wise iirc. I'm driving the latest Superb and have been using the latest Octavia as a temp car and yes, Superb is quiter when it comes to external noise. The petrol engines in Octavia are super quiet compared to my diesel though.

If Sedan is your preference, then slavia is good but it will definitely feel inferior to superb or Octavia. If you really need a car then go for superb, it's a great car and you can get a good price. Skoda will drive it down since last update to the car was in 2019. Or else go for Octavia. That is an amazing one too.
